Originally built as the All Saints Anglican Church in 1910, Okanagan Centre Community Hall is today a place where the community gathers for community potlucks, citizens front porch meetings, and special occasion parties such as Halloween, the annual Progressive Dinner fundraiser and the annual Community Christmas dinner. Yoga classes are held on a weekly basis.
The Hall comes equipped with a stage and a fully servicable kitchen. Its 3,950 square feet can accommodate up to 120 people.
Affordability, ample parking, and year round availibility attract many user groups to the facility.
Other amenities in the immediate vicinity include the Okanagan Centre Safe Harbour and boat launch facility.
The Lake Country Museum and Okanagan Centre’s community park are a five minute stroll down a quiet street. The park features a children’s playground, picnic area, outdoor summer restaurant and tea service, and a large grassy field where softball, volleyball or frisbee games are played.
Okanagan Centre Community Hall operates under the auspices of The Community Hall Association of Okanagan Centre. It is managed by a Board of Directors.
